LEON Foundation

The Leon Foundation convenes family, friends and individuals to improve Peruvian children education through technology, increase opportunity for students to increase learning, create educational opportunity and growth, and help low income schools to address the value of education having a computer lab. Because of our work, more than 5,000 students in low income schools are having the opportunity to have access to technology, more than 500 teachers have received training in Investigations Projects to develop their own in Peru and internationally; more than 10,000 parents have been involved in the investigation projects made by their children and sponsored by Leon Foundation during the School year, more than 500 hundred school volunteers , have been made an impact in their lives with Leon Foundation support programs to improve their school and to address their needs in Peru; and members of the Leon Foundation and volunteers in USA have take a great action during these 5 years to improve the life of poor students in Peru.
