Happy Birthday Raul A. Leon

Today, Raul A. Leon would have been 77 years old.

Raul was a consummate professional who gave freely of his time and attention to others.  His extraordinary energy, passion for helping others, education and strength of character motivated those around him to do their best. The Leon Foundation was created in his memory
and all that we are part of this organization are stronger, passionate for supporting children education and compassionate because of Raul. For him happiness was to those whom he served, and he always mentioned that “Knowledge is power, as the saying more than 500 years old, but knowledge is power always, especially now and tomorrow as never before, not only for me but for all because the future of our world depends on us and upon our willingness to reach our dreams with true values and courage to play our proper role in the world for the benefit of everyone.”

Raul A. Leon touched the lives of many in Peru and in USA, and this special day we honor his memory, life, and achievements and thank him and his family for the compassion and support he had for others. Thanks and Happy Birthday Raul!

Thank You For Your Continued Support!

Dear Friends,
I would like to thank you each and every one of you in representation of LEON Foundation. Thank you for your continued support and interest in our foundation and the investigation programs we support in Peru.
Since 2009, the LEON Foundation has been dedicated to support underprivileged Peruvian children education through technology. Thanks to our supporters we have been able to offer technology and to help more than 900 children to challenge and to achieve their dreams. In doing this, our mission has raised the smiles of many Peruvian children and now a low income schools have a computer lab.
At this time through our program for the Juan Pablo II School in the community of Moron, Lima-Peru about “Health and Environment,” we are supporting them and teach today’s children the importance of good habits related with health and to take care of the environment where they live, encouraging them to research, investigate and to participate in benefit of their own self and education. These features are made from side to side thanks to teamwork between Leon Foundation and the school teachers. Without the efforts of all those who support the LEON Foundation, our goals of supporting Peruvian children education through technology would not be possible.
My profound appreciation goes out to our volunteers, sponsors, family, friends as well as the businesses that supported us in our fundraisers. Thank you for helping LEON Foundation to make a difference in the lives of Peruvian children who truly need our support. We hope to count with your continued support for many years to come.

“Each of the works on this program presented its own set of challenges, and Fiore was clearly up to all of them. He performed with a very unassuming style, always focused entirely on his instrument, always sensitive that each note sound (and resound) with just the right intonation.” S.F. Examiner

“Giacomo Fiore is an imaginative and accomplished guitar player who is comfortable in a wide variety of styles. His music making has both flair and depth.” David Tanenbaum

“His solo contribution is without a doubt and easily the strongest of the evening…sensual are his melodies, beauty over virtuosity, and that’s certainly the strongest point of this young guitarist who’s just on his way, certainly not at the end of his musical journey.” Kieler Nachrichten
