Thank you very much to Sojourner Truth Multicultural Art Museum for inviting us to participate in their Sacramento's 1st Annual Banana Festival. A fundraiser for the National Academic Youth Corp. The LEON Foundation will be present in this important event that will be held on August 13-15, 2010 at the Consumnes River College 8401 Center Parkway Sacramento, CA 95823 from 11am - 8pm.
Come join us for a celebration of everything bananas and family fun! Enjoy a wide range of music, dancing and food from around the world, local artists, entertainment for all ages and much more. In addition to celebrating healthy food and healthy lifestyles, we will be celebrating the cultures in Asia, Africa, the Caribbean and the Americas which have used the banana as a traditional source of food, art and cultural customs.
